That is more important than you realize when you first start looking for a house - it is a scary and sometimes very frustrating process and a little sense of humor is just what the doctor ordered. I miss looking at houses with Nene. I recommend Nene as highly as I do most importantly though because he has your back. He protects the buyer every step of the way. When I think back to how naive we were when we first started out, I shudder to think what could have happened if Nene wasn't there with our best interest in mind. I can't tell you how many times Nene pointed out trouble to us and made sure we knew what we would be getting into. I also can't tell you how many times we got flights of fancy and imagined we had a bigger budget than we did, and he kept our search within our budget. He knows the market and can steer you in the right direction. Eighteen months after our first meeting, we ended up buying a house in the exact neighborhood Nene had suggested to start with. But he had the endless patience to see us through our learning curve until we saw what he had seen right away. We were reluctant to enter the home-buying world initially, but Nene made us truly enjoy the process. He never made us feel rushed or pressured. He never questioned what our priorities were, but he was honest about what thought about pretty much everything. Not to mention, he answers his phone all the time, has someone in the office all day as well, and will do whatever he has to do to hustle when you need him to (and let me tell you, you got to hustle a bit - nine people bid on the house we ended up with), gives good advice, and he and his team really get to know you and what you want. He helped us to find the perfect house for us with a limited budget and a lot of particulars. And we are so happy with the result. I highly recommend that you give Nene a call. He is a straight-shooter and an altogether good egg."

He paid attention to exactly what I was looking for and needed in a home. We walked me through step by step from making an offer, to what happens after the offer is accepted. It's not all smooth sailing just because the house you wanted has been accepted. There are still processes like the house passing an inspection and if not, the seller meeting those guidelines to fix what didn't pass and meeting the deadline. It could be major or minor fixes but it was up to me if the house was worth keeping if the inspection didn't pass. He was very professional and cared about my thoughts and feelings about the homes we looked at. He made sure any concerns I had, he looked into and got back to me with an answer.
